Daniel ran along a long metal spar. It was the last remnant of an old building. A skyscraper, they called it once, many long, long generations ago. A relic of a forgotten time. A forgotten age. To Daniel, one of the last humans on the Planet Earth, it was the end of the line. He'd broken into the Cyber-Emperors palace, and stolen some plans for a trans-dimensional Cybership. Even better, he'd stolen a prototype. But it wouldn't work, and the Cybermen were closing in.
He fumbled for the old vortex manipulator in his pocket. He didn't know if it would still work. He lept off the spar, yelling an old favorite of a time Lord in a universe far, far away.
"ALLONS-Y !!!"

A handful of Cybermen marched at the human flying through the air yelling gibberish.
"Stop, you are incompatible!" one of them yelled.
They all fired at him, their arms opening out in guns. Twelve bullets rang through the air at him, followed by three more rounds before they reloaded.

Daniel gazed at the bullets hurtling towards, him, sure he was about to die. Suddenly, a glowing blue vortex opened beneath him. He fell in, and vanished.
Two Miles away-
Daniel popped out of the vortex. he fondled the vortex manipulator fondly. "Good job."

The Cybertroop leader spoke first.
"I have tracked him, this way." he pointed and used his short range teleport, the others following close behind. Once near him, they opened the guns on both arms and began rapid fire at Daniel, round after endless round.

"Na-na!! Can't catch me, ya worthless Tin-men!!!" Yelled Daniel as he ran across the barren landscape.

The soul-less soldiers ignored his insult, using short range teleport to surround him. Without skipping a beat, they all fired endlessly from both arms.

"Agh!" A bullet caught him on the Arm. He rapidly grabbed his Vortex Manipulator. He teleported to a few yards out of the circle. The Cybermen's Bullet's hit them, crumpling them. "You better hope you're not from Mondas." said Daniel as he threw a small pouch of crystalline gold at the cybermen, who were still alive despite having fired on each other.

Two of the Cybermen had been shot down, three more had been finished off by the gold. The rest open fire again.
